Position Summary

Registered Nurse / Endorsed Enrolled Nurse Level 2 - 2 North

Permanent Part Time

(64 hours per fortnight x 2 positions available)

Commencing November 2018

 

Applications are invited from Registered Nurses or Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (5 Routes IV administration) to apply for two advertised positions of 64 hours per fortnight each commencing in November 2018.

 

2 North is an acute Orthopaedic ward that caters for both Elective and Emergency admissions from the Grampians region in Victoria.  The successful applicant will also have opportunity to care for patients from other specialties at times, including general medical, surgical and cardiology patients, leading to a broad experience for the successful applicants.

 

Applicants should have some work experience as an RN/EN Level 2 in an acute hospital environment post Registration with AHPRA.

 

Referees of Grade 4 level or above who have directly supervised the applicants clinical practise are required.

Selection Criteria Essential: Applicants must be currently registered with AHPRA as Registered nurse, or 5 route Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to practise in Australia
Essential: Applicants must have a minimum of 3 months work experience in Australia (post student placement)
Essential: Applicants must be able to work a 7 day roster inclusive of day afternoon and night shift
Essential: 2 Professional referees of Grade 4 level or above ie NUM, DON, Supervisor, Clinical Educator, Clinical Nurse Consultant must be provided by someone who has directly supervised the applicants work
Desirable: Acute nursing experience is desired, preferably in a general surgical/orthopaedic/medical type ward.
