Hailey House is a 60-bed Ageing–in-Place residential facility located in Ballarat. We are a team committed to the delivery of resident focused high quality care, in a modern light facility. We are looking to employ a dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Care Worker to join our progressive Age Care Team.

 

Successful applicants will possess a high degree of flexibility and initiative, have an eye for detail and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate must have Certificate III Age Care, current Safe Food Handling have a current Police clearance (less than 12 months old) certificate and be able to work a combination of all shifts across a seven day roster. Please indicate preference of hours on application. 

 

Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practise and service delivery to our clients and their families within the unit.

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you possess a certificate III or IV in Residential Aged Care or equivalent?
Essential: Have you successfully attained CHCCS305C – Assist clients with medication?
Essential: Have you successfully attained HLTFS207C – Follow Basic Food Safety Practices?
Desirable: Have you had previous experience working in an Aged Care Facility?
Essential: Are you competent in the use of computer and computer software, particularly the use of the Microsoft Office suite?
Essential: Describe a procedure you have used to keep track of items requiring your attention. Tell me about a time when you used this procedure (Looking for: the situation, what you did, why you did it and what the outcome was).
